BEWARE OF SIKHS BEARING GIFTS

During November 2003, Vintage Radio commissioned a special Christmas play for broadcast on Radio Today 1485AM, to compliment our special Christmas month.

Gregory Rogers, Cape Town based writer came up with a Christmas comedy in which the famous “The Men from the Ministry” team of John Simpson, Roger Service & Tommy Reed could be united again. On 8 November 2003, producer Henry Diffenthal recorded this production and aptly called it “A Biblical Epic with a Touch of Humour”.

The cast for this production included: Tommy Reed, Roger Service, John Simpson, Tony Wood as narrator, Caroline Smart and veteran Durban actor Cecil Northcote.

My thanks to all of the actors, the writer and off course Henry Diffenthal, who without his efforts, none of these new productions would be possible.
